We have set in motion a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser!!

Many things have been changing for our Judo Club in 2011!!
The two main things have been our new location and our new mats!!

We have also sadly had to say good bye to several of our students that have gone off
to College and University, we all wish them well and hope to see them back some day!!

We are proud to announce that before they went off to a brighter future, they each  were
promoted to there next respected ranks.  Congratulations everyone!!

Ryudokan did a Judo demo at the sutton fair this year!! And we even had
some cows come out to get there gi on!!

We had our very own Sensei Helmut named the Athlete of the week
for our area from the A channel!!

We participated in the Lake Simcoe Fun Day, and did a Judo Demo!!
Thank you to all the kids that came out and did the demo for us!!!

As a club we participated in the Georgina Mini Marathon put on by FitnessForce, we had a
water station and it was great fun as we were the last station to hand out water and cheer
the athletes on!!
We would like to thank the volunteers from the club that came out and participated!!

We had our first yard sale at the beginning of the summer and everyone that particpated
worked very hard and had lots of fun!!
We raised $1200.00
We would like to thank everyone whom donated things to sell and raffle off!!

We had our first bottle drive this spring!! Lots of volunteers and everyone had so much fun!!!

The girls of Ryudokan and Sensei Rob did a demonstration at the womens
Stilletos and Sneakers Convention.

This past weekend of September 18th 2010
Sensei Liz and Sensei Robin competed in
Goshin Jitsu and placed third.

In August of this year Sensei Liz a member of Ryudokan and the founder of World Masters Judo Championships
competed this year with daughter Sensei Robin Roach in Goshin Jitsu.
Out of four couples Liz and Robin placed Bronze!!

Sensei Helmut Krohmer fought in the M10 -81, Helmut fought Hiromi Noguchi from Japan and placed silver!!!

All three members have been training for months for this competition and we at
Ryudokan Judo Club Keswick are very proud of what our senior members have accomplished.
